OUR MISSION
The WALK IN MY SHOES campaign is dedicated to finding solutions for patients whose needs are not being met by the contractors within the Orthotics Framework and NHS commissioning.
Mobility and independence through specialized footwear should be the norm and the same for all users. The NHS constitution states : “The patient will be at the heart of everything the NHS does”. It goes on to say: “It should support individuals to promote and manage their own health, NHS services must reflect, and should be coordinated around, and tailored to, the needs and preferences of patients”.
